Summer 25’ Updates
Greetings from the Teton Range!
Hope everyone is enjoying the summertime, wherever you may be. That being said, I can’t believe that it is the end of August already.
I’ve had a busy Spring and Summer, and wanted to share a few highlights and give you look at my upcoming schedule.
Since my last update, I spent a month in Chamonix, France, I moved into an apartment in Driggs, ID, I led a successful expedition up the West Buttress of Denali, and I’ve just about finished my first season of guiding in the Tetons for Exum Mountain Guides.

Returning from the Cosmiques Couloir with Mont Blanc towering above.
Chamonix, France
Spending April in Chamonix was a dream come true. I expected big mountains and great food, but both exceeded expectations. The peaks tower 12,000 feet above town, and a quick ride on the Aiguille du Midi tram takes you 9,000 vertical feet into a glaciated playground beneath Mont Blanc, the highest summit in the Alps. The baguettes, croissants, and coffee were every bit as impressive.
A highlight of the trip was guiding the Haute Route ski traverse with my friend and colleague Jason Antin. Over seven days, we skied from Chamonix to Zermatt, Switzerland, staying in unforgettable high mountain huts. Snow conditions were variable, but the weather, views, and adventure more than made up for it.
With fall on the horizon, I’m opening spots for some exciting trips:
Cabane du Mont Fort, Verbier. Night 2 of the Haute Route accomadations.
